Arvydas Sabonis (27pts, 12rebs) vs Utah Jazz (1996 Playoffs)
Sir Charles Barkley was usually the best player on the court 2nd to only MJ.
This some good quality
Sabonis doesn't get the respect he should ❤
Dude played just like Kobe and MJ. Same style. Same smoothness. Which is why he was one of my top 3 fav players as a kid.
the rebounds from stars charles barkley and moses malone don't equal the blocks from legend hakeem olajuwon
One of my favorite big guys definitely gotta worry about the 5 players in the starting line up from behind the arc
The younger generation should really learn how good JoJo White was
oh fook off double OT games same as MJ 63
0:05 I’m going to practice 3 pointers after this
I bet giminski not een take slowbee or big head baylor number of shots
nba a larp and knicks shulda won 84 nba title gme 4 ecsf stlen by celtics
戒撸是一种修行
He mastered the fundamentals, was strong and powerful. Didn’t need any flashy skills.
Orlando was super talented but those Bulls teams were still trying to figure out how to win.
Love watching Gerv score the basketball.
Lmao. Was the last dunk really needed?
That last dunk was disrespectful af
Suns, Sonics, Knicks, and Jazz: All teams that should have won the finals if not for Jordan
Barkley was my favorite player as a kid. I remember watching this game and the entire Phoenix Suns run live with my dad. I will always cherish those childhood memories.
Charles is all time great I love to watch him play to this very day he made it interesting and worth while
him using the off arm to shield off defenders and get positions would not be quite as substantial without his weight
I just wish the Suns had Ceballos for this series. He had been unreal slashing to the basket drawing defenders away from Chuck. What a year for Phoenix
Glad to see this vintage clip of the great Big E, Elvin Hayes. An incredibly underrated superstar. When he retired, in NBA history was 3rd all time in scoring (Wilt and Kareem) and 3rd all time in rebounding (Wilt and Russell). Among forwards was first all time in BOTH categories! Yet sadly his name rarely comes up when the greatest forwards are mentioned.
Barkley almost joined the Bulls in 1996. Him, MJ, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman together would had "broke" the league
Is it me, or does the competitive level just seem like it was more intense then?
Fox was a older version of Odom who played point forward.
Thanks for upload great times back then ❤
Reminds me of a quicker and more explosive Rajon Rondo
When Mj was at his peak.. Chuck won MVP.. that's how good he was.
The Suns lost Game 6 by 1 pt on a historic three by Jon Paxson The Suns deserved a game 7 they were the closet call MJ faced trust me
Hakeem, the GOAT 🐐 center!
This is arguably The Best Game of Charles Barkley's Career. And Sir Charles is arguably the best player to not win a Championship. But that doesn't mean he wasn't a great player. Charles Barkley is clearly one of the very best to ever do it.
Not even close.
@@IndianaSmallmouth Charles Barkley is a Hall of Famer. No question about it man.
Sir Charles....what Amazing player
🐐
Wow Sabonis and Jokic game are so alike!! It’s crazy how not a lot of ppl compare the two.
A NO NONSENSE game.
바클리가 탄력과 스피드가 끝내줬네
Chuck was so dominate.
The people who bought into the whole "Bad Boys" thing are probably shocked. Yes folks. The Pistons actually could play basketball. And no, they didn't just suddenly appear in 1988. They had a long history with the Celtics through the 80's. Why didn't they shake hands with Jordan? Because he bad mouthed them after learning from them how to win. He did that even when his team was up 3-0 and about to sweep them. He disrespected them so they dissed him back.
Oooooooooo Chuck taking that ball from Jordan and dunking it was SAWEEET!!!
Hof. The big gorilla inside
Wow. That defensive stretch from Olajuwon from 3:53 to the end! He actually had one at 3:29 as well with some offensive displays in between. So many times, the announcers don't even mention Hakeem made the defensive play because it happens so quick, or because they don't expect a center to strip players (including guards) like that.
He’s so underrated
In which planet is that block at the end of the game a foul? Right, a league where "superstars" are considered bigger than the game.
Players back then looked so much more masculine then than todays players.
Say it again chuck
Barkley Baller! Suns Legend ☀️🌵🏀🤘
Sometimes I have a hard time believing this the same big dude on the right side of the desk on Inside the NBA.
Still good to watch that was a good suns team 2023 yup i watched it again
Charles barkley was the very definition of a paint beast. Dude was relentless. Ring or no ring he was an all time great and deserves everyone's respect.
